Proven Management, Inc began operations in 1995 with the formal partnership of two talented executives in the construction industry. This relationship had developed during the early 1990’s when they were introduced to each other while working on adjacent construction sites.
President Alan Varela has successfully led underground and earthwork heavy equipment operations within several organizations. Vice President, Bill Gilmartin, starting in the carpenters union, has supervised numerous large construction operations in all areas of Northern California. By nurturing similar relationships with several more talented construction leaders, the organization has expanded and now provides construction contracting services to a variety of public clients in the northern California region.
These executives lead a construction organization that includes a collection of experienced project management teams. Superintendents, project managers, and engineers have diverse backgrounds including union apprenticeship programs, family construction businesses, and college engineering and construction programs. The company also owns a fleet of construction equipment highlighted by such items as excavators, loaders, backhoes and cranes. With experience in self-perform earthwork operations, underground pipeline, mechanical installations, concrete structures, steel structures, and the successful project management of many specialty subcontractors, the company is well situated to construct many challenging public works projects.
