SFO Electrical Power Distribution Improvement System

PrōVen constructed a new electrical substation, electrical and telecommunications duct banks, as well as electrical cables and equipment.  PrōVen also completed excavation and backfilling, utility trenches, locating existing utilities, removal of 12kV existing cable and furnishing and installing new metal clad switchgear and 12kV electrical cables.  PrōVen successfully managed the project despite specific challenges with air traffic volume and special security activities.  Project Management required daily coordination with the Airport Duty Manager to accommodate air traffic volume and access to restricted areas.
